Help from experts

Hands that Heal was established in 2010 by GB and Paralympic physiotherapist Lisa Wiles, to offer outstanding physiotherapy treatments that can change lives.

Our clients include Olympic gold medal-winning Hull boxer Luke Campbell, Hull City Football Club, Olympic and Paralympic athletes who competed in the 2012 Olympic Games, the GB wheelchair basketball and wheelchair table tennis teams, Superleague netball and National League ice hockey teams, as well as GB and world-class equestrian competitors.

But you don’t have to be a professional athlete to benefit from our services – we’re here to deliver results for all. We understand that pain-free movement is precious, whether you’re striving to win competitions, are experiencing joint pain or stiffness and want to be able to enjoy your favourite hobby or manage daily tasks with ease.

Using a combination of expert therapies and advice, we work on improving your physical problem as quickly as possible – as well as enhancing your general health and wellbeing. Most of our patients start to feel better from their first treatment.

We can help you whether you’re into sport, suffer from work-related aches and pains, want to stay active as you get older, or just aim to improve your general fitness and wellbeing. Whatever your need, we’re here to help you achieve a healthier, more mobile, pain-free version of yourself.

Lisa Wiles

Founder & Physiotherapist

Lisa started Hands That Heal in 2010 after a rugby season finished and she got bored (she's a self confessed workaholic).

Since then, she has offered injury treatment and prevention to some of the country’s top athletes. These include Olympic Gold Medal-winning Hull boxer Luke Campbell, Olympic and Paralympic athletes who competed in the 2012 Olympic Games, the Great Britain, Wheelchair Basketball team, Superleague netball and National League ice hockey teams, and Great Britain and World class equestrian athletes.

With a vast and exciting career in Sport, Lisa set up Hands That Heal to help the people of East Yorkshire get the best treatment so they're free from pain and move well, reaching their goals and living their best life. Whether it's running a marathon, or being able to pick up the grand children.

Outside of work, Lisa has a husband and a large dog. One of which you’ll probably hear about on your visit (Ralph the dog!)! With a keen interest in sport, Lisa is also the captain of her local tennis club.
